The whiteboard shows a CHARM class diagram that a project team working on archaeology of architecture has been using to illustrate their approach to the description of built elements. CHARM has allowed them to take only the concepts that they found relevant, and use them in an exploratory manner to check whether their information description methodology was formally solid. The ConML graphical notation used by CHARM, simple and expresisve, has allowed them to easily sketch diagrams on the whiteboard next to other working materials, facilitating team communication and the validation of the model against other sources of information.
