Alba and Charlotte are developing a relational database from a CHARM model. Creating a model of the information that we are interested in managing and maintaining is an excellent way to verify the consistency and completeness of everything we would like to record. In addition, once the model has been constructed, developing a database to store the information described according to the model becomes much easier. Since CHARM provides a number of pre-defined concepts, it helps to establish common grounds for databases that can be shared and collaboratively used.
